I did a thing….
I started using the renowned DISC Assessment tools and reports in 2015, back when I lived and worked in Hong Kong. I started my side hustle as an executive coach and facilitator, and DISC complimented my work with leaders well. In fact, DISC has made a significant difference to my client’s development and my leadership practice.
If you haven’t heard about DISC: it’s the world’s most used behaviour assessment. The personalised reports provide a wealth of information and insights that help learners develop their potential.
In 2021 I was approached to see if I was interested in becoming a Partner in Australia of a new DISC model called DISC Flow®. The DISC Flow® model is based on the tried and tested DISC behavioural model, but it’s combined with the power of emotional intelligence.
Was I interested? Hell yeah….
So, I started another side hustle in early 2021, and we have already certified dozens of trainers who are now using DISC Flow Assessments and reports in their practices and organisations.
We are most excited about seeing the amazing work our new DISC Flow Certified Trainers are doing helping their clients and teams engage, improve communication, and create more effective relationships.
Lauree Arnold, who became a DISC Flow Certified Trainer in our first-ever group, is a Life & Leadership Coach. In December, Lauree ran a leadership workshop with an intact executive team using the DISC Flow Leader and Core Reports.
She custom-designed the session and used her learnings from our certification training to make it an experiential and robust experience.
At the end of this workshop, one participant said, “I’ve learnt more about my colleague in 3 hours than I have in the four years I’ve worked with him!”
The Managing Director later commented that she had seen a noticeable shift in the office:
“Whatever you said to them in that workshop Lauree, they were walking on cloud nine”.
How is that for transformation?
The client was so happy and impressed with Lauree’s work that they have booked their next session, building on the Group Report and including change strategy workshops and 1:1 coaching.
